The Motivation Of CT Fletcher

By Cynthia Rao

Weight training is seen as the road to a number of different destinations ranging from just feeling better about one's self to obtaining a higher level of fitness. Some even do it in order to gain a few more sideways glances at the bar, as the weight training leads to a fitter, leaner body. CT Fletcher believes that weight training should be the focus of one's life and that if one is serious about weight training it can lead them anywhere. That very approach has won him a number of awards in lifting as some major popularity on Youtube.

As per the CT Fletcher Wiki, he had a major change in belief after having open heart surgery in 2005. He took two years to recover from the surgery and decided to do something about it, and to do it in a serious way. He blamed the seven or eight meals he ate at McDonald's, and decided to live a much healthier lifestyle, which started with returning to weight lifting.

The surgery motivated him to look back at the successes he had had in the 1980s. He had the competition from some of the greatest lifter to spur him on then; now it was the simple desire to return that level of health, both in fitness and personality.

Although he is now 54, that fact has actually served to motivate him rather than force him to sit back. He wants to see if he can match now what he used to be able to do, possibly break a few of his old records. Combined with his view of not holding back and his willingness to back what he says have made him popular on Youtube.

His popularity on Youtube, based on his reputation as the "Strongest Man You Have Never Heard of", has made him extremely popular as an interesting trainer to watch. His necessity to prove himself to himself and to get others to a healthier place makes for some compelling viewing.

CT Fletcher has received a lot of flask for his belief that no one can over-train. Others in the Youtube community have attacked him for that belief. He believes that most people do not even begin to touch the beginning of their potential and that they need to be far more serious in order to reach that potential.

There is no such thing as "minimum effort" and that it is just an excuse. A person should jump in with both feet when it comes to something that they are serious about something that they are truly interested in. With the proper focus anything can be accomplished.

The training regimen is relatively simple with a lot of variety. Each muscle group has a number of exercises associated with it that ensure the muscle group will get a more than fair workout. He stresses not worrying too much about the numbers and more about putting every ounce of the person's energy into the exercise they are doing. The numbers are not important; the energy is.

He looks to drill instructors as his model. It is not so important how many push-ups as that the trainees are kept motivated to do well succeed. CT Fletcher demonstrates that motivation is all takes, as well as the willpower to follow that motivation. By combining the two a person can accomplish anything, and the CT Fletcher Wiki is a testament to that.

His Fitness Project channel is attempting to do just that. His approach has proven to be very popular on Youtube. The Fitness Project has made waves in the fitness world, especially as he focuses not on the acrobatics or calisthenics that have been popular but rather an all-around approach to muscular fitness in order to achieve a person's fitness goals.

His experience and physique say a lot about his seriousness. He does not compromise on his goals and is willing to do whatever it takes in order to accomplish his personal goals. He sees his goal as a coach to help others get to where to they want to get to, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to make the point that someone with enough focus can accomplish miracles.

He believes that with enough focus anyone can accomplish anything. If weight training happens to be the road that the person has chosen, CT Fletcher will make sure that the person is motivated and that the person will keep motivated.
